During the fourth phase of the online inspection of nitric acid, it was found that gaseous ammonia leakage occurred at the thermal mass flowmeter connection of the ammonia reduction reactor's ammonia inlet pipe. The inspection was due to the fact that the ammonia inlet pipe connection did not meet the safety regulations and the sealing level was not high. If the pipe inner diameter is small in the movable threaded joint connection, the gasket between the joint and the joint is easy to age and corrode, and gas ammonia leakage occurs after long-term use. After diagnosing the hidden danger, Zhang Yuping, the deputy director of the business department, and Chen Jianjun, the director of the security workshop, carefully planned and formulated an emergency repair plan to replace the pipeline connection method, and the original movable threaded joint connection was changed to a flange connection.
This rectification was carried out while driving online. Time is tight and tasks are heavy. In the process of dismantling, it is necessary to organize elite soldiers to conduct demonstrations. After the pipeline was removed, the maintenance staff immediately transported it back to the maintenance group for cleaning, and then sent to the hot zone of the security workshop for cutting, flange welding, and finally reinstallation. During the whole process, the maintenance personnel obeyed the command, did not complain and moved quickly, and put them into service normally after the reinstallation was completed at 9 o'clock that night.
The on-site workers took off the gas masks after the pipeline repair was completed.
